Colonel (Ret.) David F. Johnson, Chief Financial Officer/Chairman of the Board
David F. Johnson is a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. He is a 25-year Veteran of the United States Air Force. He flew over 115 combat missions in Vietnam and served in many command and staff positions. As a Military Leader, Col. Johnson developed and managed multi-million dollar budgets, oversaw daily operations, managed over 1,500 people as a Wing Commander, and was responsible for the execution of policies and procedures dealing with highly sensitive environmental issues. After his retirement from the United States Air Force, Col. Johnson was the District Manager of a financial services firm where he was responsible for daily operations, employee performance and management of multi-million dollar investments.
Christopher D. Johnson, CHMM, President and CEO
A graduate of Texas Tech University and Fort Worth's Nolan Catholic High School, Chris has 14+ years experience as an environmental consultant, commercial realtor, and business consultant dealing in large multi-million dollar national projects. He has performed over 5,000+ Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Asbestos Inspections on office, warehouse, retail, industrial, and multi-family facilities. He has performed hundreds of indoor air quality assessments for mold, sub-surface investigations for detection & delineation of environmental contamination, and has overseen numerous Underground Storage Tank (UST) and hydraulic lift remediation projects. He has been a guest lecturer on the topic of Environmental Due Diligence and how it affects commercial real estate transactions for numerous financial institutions. Chris is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) with the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management. He is an American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E50 Committee Member on Environmental Assessment, Risk Management and Corrective Action, an industry action sub-committee member for the EPA's All Appropriate Inquiry (AAI) rule, a member of the National Groundwater Association, as well as the Environmental Assessment Association (EAA), Commercial Investment Brokers (CIB), Society of Commercial Realtors (SCR), North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR), and the Texas Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association (TPCA). Chris also serves as a Board Member for the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth Board of Directors, Vice Chairman of the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth Property/Risk Management Committee, and Chairman for the 2009-10 & 2010-2011 YMCA Step-Up For Kids Charitable Campaign.
Jeffery T. White, P.G., CHMM, CAPM, Chief Operating Officer
A graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, Jeff has 10+ years of private and 6+ years of military environmental experience including UST remediation, emergency response, wastewater/biogas construction, soil and water microbial surveys, ecological surveys, and implementing HAZMAT operations at numerous military installations throughout the United States. Jeff has managed and received "closure" for dozens of Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) sites, Municipal Setting Designation (MSD) sites, Leaking Petroleum Storage Tank (LPST) sites, Innocent Owner/Operator Program (IOP) sites, Corrective Action sites, and has successfully enrolled numerous owners into the Dry Cleaner Remediation Program (DCRP). Jeff has extensive field experience in groundwater and surface water investigation and remediation, various phases of hydrogeological site assessments, vapor surveying and extraction, remedial design and construction, air monitoring, and bio-remediation. Jeff assisted in the design, construction, and management of the first biogas (methane) recovery systems throughout the United States. Other activities have included the removal of hundreds of underground storage tanks and product dispenser lines, plugging and abandonment of wells, phase separated hydrocarbon recovery and remediation system installation. Jeff has also been active in wetland water quality and forest soil remediation for the United States Department of Forestry. He has managed numerous emergency response cleanups for the U.S. EPA. Further, Mr. White formulated Health & Safety protocols and conducted remediation projects for the US Corps of Engineers, General Services Administration (GSA), United States Marine Corps, United States Army, and United States Air Force. Jeff is a licensed Corrective Action Project Manager (CAPM) by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager by the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management, and a licensed Professional Geologist by the State of Tennessee. He is often requested as a guest speaker on Environmental Hazards for banks, real estate brokers, development companies, and private industries.
John Hoffmann, P.E., CAPM, Senior Engineer
John is a registered professional engineer and a licensed Corrective Action Project Manager (CAPM) in the State of Texas with 14 years of experience in the scientific and engineering field and 26 years in the environmental field. His environmental experience includes sewer system evaluation surveys and infiltration/inflow studies; sewage flow monitoring; water and waste water clarifier retention time studies; dye dispersion studies for power plant discharge plumes; thermal and dissolved oxygen surveys for power plant cooling reservoirs; aquatic biology sampling; sediment sampling; volumetric surveys in flood control, settling ponds and lakes; air quality, water quality and water chemistry sampling; storm water sampling and permitting; National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and industrial pretreatment sampling for permitting; oil and water separator (OWS) removal and integrity testing; Underground Storage Tank (UST) removal, demolition, restoration, and closure; remediation and health/safety oversight; preparation of Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) and Environmental Site Assessments (ESA); preparation of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPP) and spill control plans; contaminant plume delineation through soil and groundwater sampling. As a geophysicist, John has prospected for oil, and has also studied earthquakes and underground nuclear explosions. Further, he has written computer programs to locate the earthquake epicenter from arrival times of seismic energy at recording stations, developed anti-submarine warfare and seismic intrusion detection techniques, and evaluated seismic signal recognition techniques from artillery weapons.
