Limited Asbestos Inspection (LAI)

     to the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) Senate Bill 509
  • Performed in accordance with the TDSHS - Texas Asbestos Health Protection
     Rules (TAHPR)
  • Bulk sampling and laboratory analysis of suspected Asbestos Containing Building
     Materials (ACBM) by a Texas Licensed Asbestos Inspector to determine the presence
     of asbestos in a building
  • A minimum of three (3) samples per homogenous area are required to be taken and analyzed
     by an accredited laboratory using Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM)
